The next edition of the Brain Mets meeting: "9th Annual Brain Metastases Research and Emerging Therapy Conference" will be held on October 4 and 5, 2019 in Marseille, France.
The different topics covered will be advances in the field of precision medicine and challenges in the management of patients with brain metastases with two "Therapeutic Controversies" sessions on locals treatments (surgery and radiotherapy), general (chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted treatments) and their potential combination.
This year, we will have the opportunity to welcome as guest speaker, Professor David Reardon from Harvard University, who will give a lecture on immuno-oncology in the management of brain metastases.
Almost 300 Neurosurgeons, Neuro-oncologists, Radiotherapists, Medical oncologists and Researchers are expected to attend this Congress.
This international Congress on brain metastases is endorsed by EANO (European Association of Neuro Oncology), EORTC (European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer) and EANS (European Association of Neurosurgical Societies). Furthermore, the French learned societies of Neurosurgery (SFNC) and Neuro-oncology (ANOCEF) are also engaged.
Since 2016, attendees may validate CME credits thanks to the EACCME (European Accreditation Council For CME) of the UEMS.
A call for papers has already been launched and, as every year, a prize for the best speaker and poster will be awarded, as well as a prize entitled "Young investigator travel grant" to reward a young researcher or doctor comes from Asia, Africa, Europe or America.
